La Ceiba Shipyard and Marina is proud to be the Number 1 marine facility in the Western    Caribbean. The Shipyard is located within the U.S. Yachts’ Marine Free Zone where foreign flag yachts and vessels of types can seek repairs and marine supplies without any duty or taxes. The Shipyard is the first to be officially certified by the HONDURAS MERCHANT MARINE AUTHORITIES after demonstrating that it has the proper trained personnel,  experience and equipment  to carry out  professional marine repairs.The Shipyard is the only commercial marine facility between Mexico and Panama with a 120-ton Marine Travel lift; offering state-of-the-art rapid lift and launch services at competitive rates.

Our ability to lift many vessels on any day eliminates the long waits for a shipyard reservation. Even emergency lifts can be accommodated with ease. Our goal is to minimize downtime and return each vessel to in-water service as rapidly and inexpensiveas possible.

Vessels of up to 100 feet  and beams to 25’4″ can be accommodated with ease and placed in our Shipyard which exceeds 100,000 square meters. Larger vessels can be accommodated in water at one of our service docks.

A full range of repair services are offered by both our in-house staff and also by  approved contractors. Do-it-yourself operation is permitted by owners and regular paid  crew with yard management approval.

Our fully bilingual management team is experienced with all facets of ship repair.
